Dapol have shown the first livery samples of their forthcoming N Gauge 'Midland Pullman' HST set.
Operated by Locomotive Services Ltd, the prototype HST set offers regular charters and excursions on the mainline around the UK, and is painted in the striking nanking blue and white livery originally worn by the Class 251 Pullman units introduced in 1960. Dapol have made several tooling changes to incorporate the correct lighting arrangements of the prototype sets and the full specifications are as follows:
Finely detailed body with many extra fitted items
5 pole Super Creep motor with incredible controllable slow running speed
All wheel drive and pick up
Directional lights
Coaches are light bar ready
Accessory bag with optional fitted parts
Extensive range of previously produced coaching stock also available
The livery samples are now being reviewed and release of the 11 car set is expected during Q1 2024 with an RRP of £534.60
