Bachmann revealed the first livery samples for the Graham Farish N Gauge TransPennine Express Class 350 and Southwest Trains Class 450 Desiros at the London Festival of Railway Modelling.
371-703 Class 350 4-Car EMU 350407 First TransPennine Express
The Class 350 will be available in the striking TransPennine Express silver, blue and purple livery, with Bachmann aiming to capture the various different shades of metallic colours used on the prototypes.
371-725 Class 450 4-Car EMU 450073 South West Trains
The Class 450 features some tooling modifications to account for the removed pantograph and minor underframe differences over the Class 350. Although in the process of being replaced by the more mundane South Western Railway grey livery, the distinctive colours of the former Stagecoach operator have been excellently captured on the model.
Both liveries are targeted for a Q1 2024 release date.
Our thanks to Bachmann for allowing NGN to photograph the livery samples.
