Revolution Trains have received livery samples for 4 versions of their in development and eagerly awaited N Gauge 3 car Class 313 PEP derived multiple units, and N Gauge news was able to take a close-up look during the N Gauge Society York show.
The samples received include the Southern Railways 'retro' blue and grey livery as applied to the 313201, the first of the class produced and originally numbered 313001. This correctly features the full grey passenger doors in order to comply with modern disabled access regulations.
Also received are the attractive and popular Network SouthEast livery as worn by the units when in service on the North London Lines, and the striking purple & lime SilverLink Metro livery along with the London Overground branded variant of the same scheme.
Network SouthEast and Silverlink / London Overground models are available to pre-order now directly from Revolution Trains along with standard blue / grey and the yet to be received samples for Southern Coastway, First Capital Connect and Great Northern liveries. Revolution are also awaiting livery samples for the Class 314 in Scotrail and Strathclyde PTE schemes.
With the final decorated samples expected to arrive shortly, the order book will close in around 4-8 weeks and the models will enter production.
