At the 2023 International N Gauge show, Revolution Trains displayed the first full EP samples for their forthcoming N Gauge Class 175 'Coradia' and 180 'Adelante' diesel-hydraulic multiple-units.
We previously showed the first test shots from the mould, but the samples photographed here are fully working engineering prototypes which are now under assessment ahead of livery samples being received.
Class 175 'Coradia'
The Class 175 is currently available to pre-order in 3 liveries:
First North Western
Arriva Trains Wales
Transport for Wales
Both two and three car units are being produced and DC and DCC sound options are also available.
Class 180 'Adelante'
The 5 car Class 180 'Adelante' unit is currently available to pre-order in 6 livery options:
First Great Western 'Barbie'
Northern 'Barbie
First Great Western 'Dynamic Lines'
Hull Trains
Grand Central
East Midlands Railway (EMR)
Both the Class 175 and Class 180 will feature the usual Revolution Trains high specification including directional lighting, couplers that can transfer power and DCC control signals between cars, smooth coreless motor with pin-point axles and full interiors with saloon lighting as standard.
Both models are currently scheduled to be released during 2024.
