Revolution Trains have debuted EP samples for their forthcoming N Gauge IHA Sfhimmns covered steel carrier wagons.
There are around 250 of the type in use for transporting high-grade steel on a variety of flows. These include domestic steel from South Wales to destinations in the midlands, north and south-east of England and via the Channel tunnel to customers in France, Belgium and Holland.
The wagons feature the usual levels of detailing with lots of separate parts and photo-etched platforms at one end and NEM coupler pockets in kinematic mounts.
The model will include the following features:
Highly detailed model of the IHA bogie steel carriers
Photo-etched platforms at one end
NEM coupler pockets in kinematic mounts
Fine wheelsets to NMRA RP25 standards
Designed for Peco radius 2 curves
Although only at EP stage, with some changes and improvements to be made, the models are already showing very impressive levels of detail, and the wrinkled canvas covers are looking particularly effective.
Revolution are offering four livery variations (with 4 numbers of each variations ie 16 different numbers in total) – all versions have red bogies/underframes and grey canvas hoods.
